New pool League city

I love this forum. Everyone has been so great here. Not only did I get help finding a pool builder (who I think is wonderful so far.) But all the technical questions that I needed to ask the builder before I signed a contract as well as equipment information. They dug the pool on Saturday morning and put the rebar in Saturday afternoon. Then they put the gunite in on Sunday. I should have pictures for you guys soon. Again thanks to everyone on here for all the information.

Nice design. I'll be interested to see pics of the 3 waterfalls.

I am in the Houston area, just curious...who is your builder?

Not much progress here with the rain and all. They did delivery all tile, flagstone and the rocks for the waterfalls though. I choose a flagstone called oak. Oh I went with Gulf Coast pools.

How is your pool comming along? We are going to have Gulf Coast come out this week.

I have had a delay in the pool. I lost my job earlier this month and had to put the pool progress on hold until I figured out my finances. Waterfalls are built, tile and coping are done. Equipment is in. I think the decking is the next step. I will put new pics on soon. Gulf Coast Pools has been really understanding about the whole thing. Should start back up soon. Are you using Gulf Coast Pools in Texas city or are you Using Gulf Coast pool Co. in Richmond. Just thought I'd ask I almost made the same mistake.

I called the Texas City location. Is that who you are using.

No, we ended up using. The one in Richmond. (281)232-8825 if you need it.

We are starting our pool build next month and are using Gulf Coast Pools in Texas City. A friend of ours used him and he did a great job. Call us crazy we having the pool built as we are building a new house. Way too many decisions at the same time.

Well things are back on track now pool has water and everthing is great. I have now decided to add a summer kitchen to the pool. My builder has just been wonderful to deal with, we did end up failing one inspection but they came out the same day and fixed the issue and had it reinspected the next day. Here are some recdent pics.

Congrats, you've got a great looking pool!!!
IMO, you should ask David or his brother to send out the rock guys with some small character rocks for the bases of the flanking waterfalls. The rise of the gunite on the waterfall pad meeting the new patio decking shows poorly from a lateral viewing angle. You've got a really good builder and I'm certain there's a few rocks laying around his or the masons shop that could easily be cemented down to the new concrete deck to hide the rise

See ya,
Kelly
